The Grand Opening ceremony for Vava’u Road Improvement Project took place at 2:00 PM, May 21 in local time.

Local government took a great importance on this project and assigned the Ministry of engineering to organize the ceremony, meanwhile the Chinese Technical Team from Yanjian Group was there and cooperated with them and arranged ceremony meticulously. More than 120 people attended the ceremony including Mr. Wang Donghua the Chinese ambassador in the Kingdom of Tonga, Mr.Xu Zhiguang, the first secretary from the Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office, the Chinese technical team dispatched from Yanjian Group, Mr. Tuivakano, the prime minister,Mr. Vaipulu, deputy prime minister and the minister of engineering, Mr.Feili, the Minister of Finance and local residents.

Mr. Wang Donghua the Chinese ambassador and Prime Minister of the Tonga kingdom both delivered speech respectively on behave of the Chinese government and Tonga government, they expressed their appreciation for our company’s work for the road and made positive comment on it, also, they expressed that the Chinese Technical Team could keep its advantage and help the people of Tonga to build more and better road projects.
